This amazing annual event, in which artists and their fans are brought together for an musical vacation on the high seas, sets sail from Miami on January 13, 2013, on The Norwegian Pearl, returning January 20. Now in its sixth edition, this year's cruise includes stops in San Juan, Antigua, and Tortola. The cruise is currently on a waiting list-only status.   • Treme has returned to HBO for its third season and will feature the song "The Neon Lights of the Saints," which Shawn wrote with John Leventhal, on the episode airing on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at 10 PM. Tune in to the episode—titled Saints, after the song—to hear it. You can also hear the song on Shawn's latest album, All Fall Down.

  • Congratulations to Kathryn Cort, winner of the Martin Mahogany Dreadnought guitar in the iVillage giveaway celebrating the release of Shawn's new album, All Fall Down, and memoir, Diamond in the Rough. Here are some photos of the guitar sent in by Kathryn, who says her favorite tunes on the new album are the title track, "Change Is on the Way," and "Seven Times the Charm." So glad the guitar found a happy home!

  • Shawn will give a free in-store performance and reading at Waterloo Records in Austin, Texas, on Tuesday, October 2, at 5 PM. She will be reading from her memoir, Diamond in the Rough, and performing songs from her new album, All Fall Down. It's all in support of HAAM Benefit Day at Waterloo, on which 5% of the entire day's business will go to HAAM, The Health Alliance for Austin Musicians.   • Shawn is the guest on NPR's World Cafe today. She talks about her memoir, Diamond in the Rough, and performs songs from her new album, All Fall Down. The music was recorded live at World Cafe Live in Philadelphia shortly after the album's release on Nonesuch Records in June. Joining Colvin for the performance are her longtime friend and cohort Buddy Miller, who produced the album, and bassist Viktor Krauss, who also performs on the album.
